01/08/09 - ADVANCED SCHEDULING The Branch has raised concerns about the roll out of Advanced Scheduling with SW senior management, particularly the crossing of contractual and normal working boundaries together with H&S concerns about driving large distances to meet tight customer deadlines and the lack of risk assessments when working in an unfamiliar area. SW has confirmed that changes have been made as a result and new business rules have been inputted to minimise travelling distances. We have requested an update from SW on how successful these changes have been but please feel free to get in touch with your local steward if you feel that the situation has not improved.
